Computer requirements: 

1) RAM 12-16 (depending on the client) // Internet speed 30 Mbps download // 10 Mbps upload // ping - depends on client

2) Dual monitors - Laptops can be used

3) Noise-canceling headsets

4) Ethernet cord hardwired to computer & Internet modem - no WiFi, no satellite - EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! A computer check will be done to verify

5) Background check required: $70 for both background check and drug test if required by client (some don’t). If no drug test, the background cost is $30 you pay for. 

6) Independent Contractor NOT W2 -pay your own taxes

7) Certification is paid. Certification length depends on the client; there is phase 1 & phase 2 with phase 2 taking calls with support. If certification is passed with required QA score, you move to production where you make your own schedule.

Work From Home: Customer Service Representative

Are you right for the job? Is the job right for you?  

Once you complete certification, you will be able to set your own schedule. You will be required to work approximately four (4) hours on Mondays, and put in approximately 15 hours a week. This can be either a part-time job or a full-time job. The hours vary according to the client.  Some clients are 24/7, others are 8-8 ET, others are 8-4 ET. You choose your own client. 

A platform fee of 5% is withheld by the client. My business fee is $50 each invoice period (twice monthly), that is in addition to the 5% held by the client. Both fees are taken out from gross revenue. The client pays me, I pay you.  You must have a DD for me to set up your pay. You will receive an invoice on your total revenue and fees held.
